I made this recipe years ago, I found this recipe on the internet and forgot to write down the source. So I don’t own/create this recipe.
We’re still summer now, there are days when it was so hot in San Diego and I don’t feel like using oven for making desserts. This dessert can be one of the solution for my craving without using oven.
This recipe is for 4 servings, you can make this into smaller glass/shots glass. Let’s get cooking
Ingredients:
- 1 pound strawberries
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup graham cracker (I used Regal biscuits); crushed it with rolling pin or food processor
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 12 ounces cream cheese, softened (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2/3 cup confectioner sugar (icing sugar)
- 1 cup heavy cream
Directions:
- Slice strawberries and sprinkle with 1 tbsp of sugar. Combine well. Set aside
- Mix graham crackers/regal biscuit with melted butter+ 1 tbsp of sugar
- Beat cream cheese, add sour cream, confectioner sugar
- In another bowl, beat heavy cream into soft peak, fold into cream cheese mixture.
- Place 1 tbsp graham cracker/regal biscuits on the bottom of the glass, layer with cheese mixture and strawberry. and repeat to the next layer.
